Ariana Rivera, LCPC (She/Her/Hers)
Staff Psychotherapist

As a first‑generation college graduate and Evans Scholar from the University of Illinois Urbana‑Champaign, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish—an academic foundation that continues to inform her thoughtful, relational approach to therapy.
Growing up in Chicago as a woman of color, Ariana developed a strong commitment to supporting diverse and historically marginalized communities. She is especially attuned to the ways identity, culture, and life experiences shape emotional well‑being. Ariana also holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, reflecting her interest in the intersection of psychology, systems, and advocacy.
Early in her career, Ariana worked closely with adolescents and families involved in the domestic court system, where she supported clients through family conflict, communication challenges, and reunification processes. In outpatient and residential settings, she has provided individual, group, and family therapy, helping teens and young adults navigate identity exploration, emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationship dynamics, and major life transitions.
Outside of the therapy room, Ariana enjoys spending time with her dog, connecting with family and friends, and unwinding with an action‑packed TV show or movie.
